I had a baby 13 months ago. When I went into the delivery room I weighed 206 pounds; now I weigh about 210, and I want to lose at least 80 pounds. Every time I try to lose weight, I do really well the first few days but then I start slip. I’d like to know how to lose weight fast and keep it off for good. Please tell me more about post pregnancy weight loss.
Post pregnancy weight loss
Losing weight is best done slowly and consistently. Fast attempts are doomed to failure. There’s lots of information on this site about exercise and good eating habits. If you’re really committed to losing weight, you need to familiarize yourself with what it means to eat well and commit yourself to a regular exercise program. In time, the weight will come off.
If you feel your eating habits are emotionally based (you eat when you’re bored, frustrated, angry, lonely, anxious) then find ways to reduce stress, speak to a counselor or get group support. For most people, it’s a matter of approaching the problem several times until you find what works for you.
