Words are expressions of our feelings and thoughts. Often several words can be used to describe the same thing, but the words themselves give away the sentiment of the speaker.

What words accompany a feeling of respect for and recognition of the intrinsic value of life in the seas and what words describe thoughts and feelings that are disrespectful to these forms of life?

Here is a list of words and phrases that describe sea creatures and their life.

Schools of thousands of individual fish, forests of sturdy mature mangrove trees that cradle the young of many varieties of sea life, alive sea creatures darting, burrowing, swimming leisurely or powerfully or gracefully about, streamlined and sleek, colourful and inquisitive, hungry, a sleeping parrot fish cocooned in its mucus bubble bed.
