Traditional Roasted Tomato Sauce 1
10eachroma tomatohalved, lengthwise
1/4cupextra virgin olive oil
1dashbalsamic vinegar
1 – 1/2tablespoonsmaple sugar
1/2teaspoonsea salt

Traditional Roasted Tomato Sauce 2

Place tomatoes cut side down on cookie sheet. Blend or process all other ingredients and sprinkle on top of the tomatoes. Cook in oven at 400 for 30 to 45 minutes. Or broil for 15 minutes.

Blend or process when done. Serve hot.

*Serving Ideas : Serve with the canellini bean pate.
