Amount Measure Ingredient Preparation
10 each roma tomato halved, lengthwise
2 cloves garlic processed
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
1 dash balsamic vinegar
1 – 1/2 tablespoons maple sugar
1/2 teaspoon sea salt

Traditional Roasted Tomato Sauce 3

Place tomatoes cut side down on cookie sheet. Blend or process all other ingredients and sprinkle on top of the tomatoes. Cook in oven at 400 for 30 to 45 minutes. Or broil for 15 minutes.

Blend or process when done. Serve hot.

*Serving Ideas : Serve with the canellini bean pate.
